Group Development Coordinator
Joyce Erceg comes from a farming background which has informed her care for the environment. The principles of not taking more than the land can give is hard wired into farming people. Realising that this is exactly what we are doing to the planet as a whole, she wanted to help steer our society in a more sustainable direction.
She volunteered for several years on the WA Local Government Divestment Campaign with 350.org where she saw the difference that speaking up can make, and encouraged 15 Councils to move their funds to fossil free banks. The past four years have been spent with CCL, learning about the positive impact carbon pricing can have on our emissions, and indeed the world’s emissions. She is WA Regional Coordinator and helps in various parts of the organisation.
